The more photos you take of space, the more you discover and the closer you want to get to whatever else is out there. This photo was actually a botched attempt at getting a closer look at a nebula. I had zoomed into 200mm and taken a photo at an exposure of around 20 seconds, which is what be a normal way to capture stars without trails at a wider focal length. What I didn’t take into consideration is that the earth would rotating at a much faster speed when I was zoomed in. The result of that equation was this image - which I actually thought looked pretty trippy in hindsight.
